An Introduction.

Hello! My name's Carly, I'm a freshman Literature and Secondary Education double major currently enrolled in Honors Logic and Critical Reason! I look forward to discussing future topics of philosophy and logic with those of you enrolled in this course with me. Aside from being your usual college student, I am an avid reader, writer, and have worked part time as a barista for the past year slinging coffees at Starbucks. Anything else you might want to ask, please feel free to!

      Why honors logic? Hm, I guess that's a tough one, Robin. I was actually placed in the course without much of a choice, but I have to say the class has proved to be one of the more interesting and intellectually challenging in my schedule this semester! I've only been to three classes and already I'm amazed by how philosophy can change your outlook on things drastically. It's really amazing what you can learn about things like arguments by just listening and reading for fifty minutes or so a day.

    Any situations you can think of where you use logic and reasoning while working as a barista?
